| Description | The NCAR S-band dual-polarized (S-Pol) radar was deployed on the Washington coast, at a location with a clear view of the offshore study area. It was used for long-range weather surveiallance and directing of aircraft into precipitation features, as well as measuring reflectivity, polarimetric, and Doppler velocity structures of precipitation features that moved through the study area. |
