Data Platform | Ground-based snow crystal observations |
Description | Three ground observers carried out 15-minute observations of dominant snow crystal type during IMPROVE-2 IOPs at several locations near the Cascade crest. These observations will be used to augment the microphysical data set provided by the in situ aircraft observations (Convair-580 and P-3) and ground-based remotely sensed observations (S-Pol radar and scanning microwave radiometer). |
